All Bollé Safety eyewear in this catalogue is tested and approved to AS/NZS1337 and provides ‘Medium Impact’ protection. It is a requirement of this standard to have the following lens markings on all of the products as proof (and to allow ease of identification) that the product does conform.
‘I’- The letter ‘I’ marking signifies ‘Medium Impact’ approval. You will see this on all Bolle Safety lines in this catalogue.
‘O’- The letter ‘O’ markings signifies that the product has been approved for use indoors and the terminology used by Australian Standards is ‘outdoor un-tinted’. This marking appears on our clear, amber and ‘contrast’ lenses.
These markings will appear on both lenses (of a dual lens product, such as the Prowler) and only once on a single lens product (such as the Blade).
